After spending her early childhood in India, Sharon grew up in the beautiful Annapolis Valley region of Nova Scotia and earned a B.Sc. from Acadia University. She began working in the university setting at Acadia University and continued her career at Carleton University when she relocated to Ottawa in 1985. In 1994, Sharon changed careers and entered the financial services industry. She is currently the mutual fund branch manager for the office and is registered to offer mutual funds and can provide insurance advice. Sharon has a loyal client base from all walks of life, including physicians, dentists, politicians and business owners. Sharon is proficient at identifying and addressing the unique issues and challenges that these professionals face. Sharon understands that choosing appropriate investments and insurance products is only one piece of the puzzle. She takes a holistic approach when helping clients take control of their finances today so they can effectively manage them in the future. Since 2001, Sharon has been a proud member of Advocis, the Financial Advisors Association of Canada. She actively adheres to the association’s high standards of professionalism, continuing education, with always putting the interests of her clients first. Sharon is a passionate volunteer who devotes time and resources through her local church for people in need and has supported many worthwhile charities including the Canadian Cancer Society, Harvest House Ministries and the Humane Society. Sharon is a strong advocate of the organ donor registration program and is a 2010 recipient of the Gift of Life Medal. Sharon has an adult son and enjoys cooking, reading, music and walking her dog.
